Last Night Saved My Life
Creating a sense of hope rivaled only by the size of their hooks, LAST NIGHT SAVED MY LIFE know life’s too short to only play sad music. That perseverance has paid off for the band –vocalist Wilson Shaner, guitarist Riley Hupfer, guitarist Justin Burns,, and bassist Ryne Weber – as they’ve since become one of the brightest up-and-coming acts in the pop-punk genre, praised by outlets like Alternative Press, Kerrang, and Substream and seen on stages with the likes of Neck Deep and State Champs and as part of Sad Summer Festival. Their 2019 self-released debut LP, Cherry, and follow-up singles “Caffeine Company” and “Limitless” showcased LNSML’s undeniable sound, rooted in the urgency of the underground with a few left turns, as they sidestepped typical genre tropes with unexpected influences like the wistful nostalgia of country music and more introspective lyrical inspirations. They’ve certainly delivered that in spades – not only on Cherry, but on their 2022 sophomore LP, The Color Infinite as well. With a swirling mix of taut musical backbones and pop charm, this Michigan pop rock band is sure to leave audiences eagerly awaiting more music.
