The Duchess

Los Angeles-based music producer, sound engineer, and DJ, The Duchess, is making waves. Born and raised in Chicago, Kendra Videckis had an all-American childhood. While attending the University of Illinois with the intention of attending medical school, her father unexpectedly passed away. It was this event that urged her to download and master Ableton Live and begin designing her own sounds. After graduating college, she headed to California to pursue music and attend the music production school, Icon Collective. Through her passion for creating and learning Kendra became equipped with the tools necessary to take her production to the next level. The Duchess is unique in her experimental sound design and hip-hop/edm influence. This multi-genre artist has received support from artists such as NGHTMRE, WHIPPED CREAM, and grammy-nominated producer, Wuki. She has also provided direct support to industry titans such as Zomboy and Lil Yachty.
